The Weekly Sheet has this week’s Readings and News on it

Junior Church Returns

Junior Church returns this Sunday 11 September!
We normally meet on the 1st Sunday, but due to the school holidays, we have moved the first Junior Church to the 2nd Sunday. Here are the dates for the rest of this year: 02 October (Harvest), 06 November, 04 December.

If you and your children would like to join us please come along to the 10:40am service at St Mary’s this Sunday – please take a look at our youth page on our website for more details: stmaryswistaston.org.uk/children–youth.html

As part of our Safeguarding Policy we ask all parents to complete a Registration Form preferably before arriving, but whilst you are there is fine as well.
To complete a Registration Form online here bit.ly/jcregform, this is very quick and is easier for our admin than paper. Of course if you’d like to complete a paper copy you can download a copy here.

Harvest Sunday

St Paul’s Pantry writes
Harvest is fast approaching, Since 2019 the number of people accessing St Paul’s Pantry has increased by 96%. Alongside this increase in demand, we have a decline in donations which reflects the increasing cost of living. We want to encourage everyone that ‘every item makes a difference’. We urgently need donations especially as we anticipate demand over Autumn and Winter. Long life items are always in demand – please see the leaflet in church and on our Blog with the list of shortages – thank you!

Rev Paul’s Institution & Induction at St Leonard’s Warmingham

Congratulations to Rev Paul following his Institution & Induction as the vicar St Peter’s Leighton & St Leonard’s Warmingham on Wednesday 31 August at 7:30pm. A lovely service with a challenging and inspiring sermon by Bishop Sam. Our thoughts and prayers are with him and the family as he begins this next phase of his ministry. 🙏
