This Sunday we have services of celebration to commemorate the Coronation at both of our churches, and at St Mary’s we will have cake & bubbly with the refreshments. There is a celebration will at Queens Park, a Coronation Picnic in the Park, 2pm to 6pm, however, look out for ‘local to you’ events that may be taking place.

Our Stepping Stones Toddler Group provided & planted a tree last Wednesday at Joey the Swan to mark the Coronation of King Charles III. Many thanks to the Conservation Group for all their help.  
As you can see, a good morning was had by all!

Christian Aid Week: 14-20 May 2023
Thanks to those who have already offered to deliver and collect or just deliver envelopes this year. We still have roads available for either way of delivery and any help would be appreciated. Call in to the Choir Vestry on Sunday. The Annual Parochial Church Meeting (APCM) is on Sunday 21 May 2023 at  12 noon in St Mary’s Church followed by a Bring and Share in the Church Hall. The Trustees’ Report & Financial Statement 2022 is available at both churches and online via the link below. The APCM is open to anyone on the church’s Electoral Roll. At the APCM we will be electing 2 Church Wardens, 5 Members to the PCC and 4 Deanery Synod Members. The Revision of the Electoral Roll was completed on 30 April. Nomination forms for are available at both churches and can be found bit.ly/apcminfo

The Bible Society are sponsoring Ollie Pike (aged 24) to create a garden based on a Psalm 27 Garden at RHS Tatton Park Here’s a link to the web page: bit.ly/psalm27garden Ollie is in the Young Designer of the Year competition. Ollie chose Psalm 27 having heard it at a funeral and found it comforting. Tickets are less than £30 for a wonderful day out and can be bought here: bit.ly/tattontickets
