It’s Rachael Rivers final Sunday with us this Sunday. I’m sure you will join with me in thanking Rachael for her ministry amongst us during her placement. Our best wishes go with her as she completes her Reader Training and is licenced next year to serve as a Reader. Revd Mike.


It’s Christian Aid Week!

Thanks to those who have offered to deliver/collect envelopes this year around the local area.

We need help to count the envelopes on Sunday 21 May, if you can help, please join us at the Rectory at 5pm, it should take no more than an hour.


The Annual Parochial Church Meeting 2023

The Annual Parochial Church Meeting (APCM) is this Sunday 21 May 2023 at  12 noon in St Mary’s Church followed by a Bring and Share in the Church Hall. The Trustees’ Report & Financial Statement 2022 is available at both churches and online via the link below. The APCM is open to anyone on the church’s Electoral Roll. At the APCM we will be electing 2 Church Wardens, 5 Members to the PCC and 4 Deanery Synod Members. The Revision of the Electoral Roll was completed on 30 April. Nomination forms for are available at both churches and can be found bit.ly/apcminfo


The Bible Study group

The Tuesday Bible study group will next meet on the 16th May at 10.15am. The monthly Prayer group on Thursday 1st June at 7pm. Both groups meet at 56 Bowness Rd. All welcome. Thank you, Jenny V. 


The Knife Angel in Crewe

The Knife Angel is in Crewe until 30 May. More info:bit.ly/knifeangelcrewe It is located in Memorial Square, well worth a visit.


Psalm 27 Garden at RHS Tatton Park (July 19-23). 

The Bible Society are sponsoring Ollie Pike (aged 24) to create a garden based on a Psalm 27 Garden at RHS Tatton Park Here’s a link to the web page: bit.ly/psalm27garden Ollie is in the Young Designer of the Year competition. Ollie chose Psalm 27 having heard it at a funeral and found it comforting. Tickets are less than £30 for a wonderful day out and can be bought here: bit.ly/tattontickets

Beetle Drive!

Beetle Drive – Saturday 13th May at 6pm at St Mary`s Church Hall –  fundraising event in support of the South west Cheshire Scout World Jamboree Contingent. £3 payable on the door, raffle and refreshments available – All welcome!!  


Ladies Afternoon Group

The Ladies Afternoon Group -We look forward to seeing you at our next meeting on 25th May when Nim Devi will be giving us a demonstration on “Simple Indian Cookery”. Thank you, Frances.


Foodbank News

Thank your continuing generous support for St Paul’s Foodbank. Shortages are: Jam, UHT milk, cereal, rice, long life puddings/cakes. Tinned items: corned beef; pork; fruit; meat meals (chilli con carne, stew); rice pudding; vegetables. Please see the leaflet with the donation/drop off points .
