This Sunday is Trinity Sunday

The Sunday after Pentecost Sunday has been known and celebrated as “Trinity” Sunday for quite some time. As its name suggests, Trinity Sunday is a time to focus on the Christian doctrine of the Trinity, the teaching that there is one God in three Persons—Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.


Rose Queen News

Sunday 11 June is our Rose Queen Sunday when our outgoing Rose Queen, Emily, will tell us about the year she’s had as Rose Queen and our incoming Rose Queen, Sophie, will make her promise and let us know which charity she will be supporting in the coming year.
On the 11 June Emily will be holding a cake stall in the Church Hall following the service, please do support her.
Sophie will be crowned as our 2023/24 Rose Queen at the Wistaston Village Fete on Saturday 17 June, please do come along and support our Rose Queens at this event.


Men’s Group

Men’s Group-7.30pm Friday 23 June 2023 Please join us at Ebenezers [159 Nantwich Rd, Crewe-the old Beer Dock]for beer [non-alcoholic options may be available] afterwards we will go somewhere for food. Open to all men over 18. Feel free to bring male family & friends. No need to RSVP-see you there! Howard,


The Ladies Afternoon Group met on Thursday 25th May and were introduced to some simple Indian Cookery by Nim Devi. We had a wonderful afternoon and were able to sample her delicious Tarka Dhal. It was great to see so many of you there. Thank you for making the afternoon so enjoyable. Our next meeting is on June 22nd when the Wells Green Singers will be entertaining us. Take care and we wish Alice Chalwin a speedy recovery. Many thanks Frances


The Bible Study group

The Tuesday Bible study group will meet at 10.15am on the 6th and 20th of June. We meet at 56 Bowness Rd. All welcome. Thank you, Jenny V.

Foodbank News

Thank your continuing generous support for St Paul’s Foodbank. Shortages are: Jam, UHT milk, cereal, rice, long life puddings/cakes. Tinned items: corned beef; pork; fruit; meat meals (chilli con carne, stew); rice pudding; vegetables. Please see the leaflet with the donation/drop off points .
