UPDATE: Choir Vestry Dry Rot Works
The Choir Vesty work re the Dry Rot is due to start on Wednesday 12 February for three days. This will be exploratory work following which we will know the extent of the work required. During the work we will have limited, and at times, no access to the Choir Vestry. Help is needed to clear the Choir Vestry on Saturday 8 February at 9:30am for an hour or so. Please let Revd Mike know if you can help then, and/or can offer garage space for storage if needed for the some framed photos and the large nativity figures.
Electoral Roll 2025
Notice is given that under the Church Representation Rules a new Church Electoral Roll is being prepared. Every person who wishes to have his or her name entered on the new Roll, whether it is entered on the present Roll or not, is requested to apply for enrolment not later than 16 March 2025. Our Electoral Roll Officers are Sue & Bob Squirrell. Please ask them for assistance if needed. All the necessary forms for the APCM are available in both churches and on our website. New Electoral Roll forms will be available in church and via our website from Sunday 9 February.
Annual Parochial Church Meeting (APCM) 2025
Our APCM this year is on Sunday 6 April in St Mary’s at 12 noon followed by a Bring ‘n’ Share lunch. More details to follow nearer the time.
Poppy Appeal- thank you!

The Royal British Legion have thanked us for our support with last year’s Poppy Appeal which raised a local total of £59961.00, see below for the amounts collected via our church buildings. Church Hall: £16.29, St Mary’s Church: £42.42 & St Luke’s Church: £14.32
Ladies Afternoon Group News
We had a successful meeting with Motherwell organisation at our AGM last week, it was interesting to learn of their support and work for various local community groups and projects within our surrounding area. Our next meeting will be Thursday 27th February at 2pm – we will have a talk on the History of Crewe Hall with Graham Dodd. Please also can we ask that the deposit of £20 is paid towards our Summer Trip in the next few weeks. Also, a date for your diary, this year’s Lent Service at St Mary’s will be on Thursday 27thMarch.
