The Alpha Course begins on Wednesday 11 June.
We are meeting at St Luke’s, Coppice Road, Willaston, CW5 6QA, from 7:30pm-9pm, for six weeks and it is for anyone 18 years of age or older.
Alpha is for anyone who would like to explore the Christian faith, even if you’ve been going to church for many years, it can act as a good refresher! Maybe it’s for you? Charlie’s Baptism is this Sunday 8 June at St Mary’s at 10:40am
Laura and David would like to extend an invitation to all at church to Charlie’s Baptism service with a bring and share afterwards which will happen after the usual tea & coffee in the Church Hall.
Terry Spokes’ Funeral
The family of Terry Spokes would like to share with you his funeral details. Terry’s funeral service will be at St Mary’s Wistaston on Friday 20 June at 11:15am. All those who knew him are warmly invited to attend.
Ladies Afternoon Group News

Summer Maintenance Jobs at St Mary’s
In the Rota File in St Mary’s porch there is a list of outdoor maintenance jobs at St Mary’s that would be good to get done during the summer months.

Police Community Support Officer Surgery
Our local PCSO Lorraine Meggs will be holding a Surgery at the Church Hall on 17 June 10:30am-11:30am in the Howe Room. It is for anyone that would like to discuss any local issues concerning the Wistaston area.
St Barnabas’ Patronal Festival – you are invited!
St Barnabas Church, West St, Crewe invite you to their Patronal Festival on Wednesday 11 June at 7:30pm for Solemn Mass with Procession and Benediction followed by ‘Big Refreshments’ in the hall afterwards. This will be Father Ralph’s 46th and final St Barnabas day before his retirement.
Choir Vestry Repairs
The Dry Rot repairs in the Choir Vestry will cost in the region of £19,000 to repair. However, add to this roof repairs, plastering, painting and professional fees, the whole project could be in the region of £30,000. Many thanks for the donations and pledges received so far, if you would like to pledge a donation towards this project please let Revd Mike know.
