Joyce Woodward’s funeral will be on Thursday 22 May, 12 noon, at St Mary’s followed by a Committal at Crewe Crematorium. Please keep her family in your prayers.

Christian Aid Week 11 – 17th May

Thanks to all who have offered to help with delivery/collection this year. Our CA rep is Sarah Rhodes and she will have everything you need in the Choir Vestry this Sunday. If you’d like to do a round collect & deliver or deliver only, pop in and see her after the service.
We are planning on counting at the Rectory on Sunday 18 May at 5pm, helpers will be needed for this, please let Sarah know if you can help with this.

Christian Aid Swim Update: the total raised for the Crewe area was £5,000 plus gift aid. Our swimmers raised £705.00 towards this total. Well done!
Rose Queen Cake Sale on 18 May
Our Rose Queen, Lucia, will be holding a Cake Sale on 18 May in the Church Hall following the morning service, all proceeds will go to her chosen charity, Cancer Research UK.
The Alpha Course

We are running an Alpha Course beginning on Wednesday 11 June. The venue will be St Luke’s, Coppice Road, Willaston, CW5 6QA, from 7:30pm-9pm. It will run for six weeks and it is for anyone 18 years of age or older. Alpha is for anyone who would like to explore the Christian faith, even if you’ve been going to church for many years, it can act as a good refresher! Maybe it’s for you? Ladies Afternoon Group News

Choir Vestry Repairs
The Dry Rot repairs in the Choir Vestry will cost in the region of £19,000 to repair. However, add to this roof repairs, plastering, painting and professional fees, the whole project could be in the region of £30,000. Many thanks for the donations and pledges received so far, if you would like to pledge a donation towards this project please let Revd Mike know.
