Margaret Lunt’s Funeral Details
We continue to give thanks for Margaret’s life and her fellowship and friendship with us at St Mary’s, she will be greatly missed by us all.
We can now confirm her funeral details as follows:
Tuesday 7th January 2025 at 11.00am at St Mary’s Wistaston, please continue to keep her family and friends in your prayers.
Decorating St Mary’s Church for Christmas
This will take place on Saturday 21st December between 10am-12noon. We would welcome any greenery that you can donate such as Conifer, Holly and Ivy. With thanks, Di Carter.
Advent Bible Study
Continuing this week on Tuesday 17th December, 7:30pm-9pm, at the Rectory. These are standalone studies, so if you haven’t been before, you are still welcome. The study is called ‘Because of Bethlehem and will be led by Rachael Rivers. All materials will be provided, please bring a Bible with you.
The Posada continues!

Mike and Chris Horne are holding their produce sale this Sunday 15 December in the Church Hall following the morning service.

Our Christmas Services are available on our website and in our church porches, leaflets are available at both churches for you to use to invite family, friends and neighbours to our services this year.
Please put the dates on your calendars and think about who you might invite to Follow the Star this year.
Christmas Cards
If you are planning to leave a Christmas Card at St Mary’s for someone, can we ask that you leave it the Choir Vestry on the brown cupboard on the right. This is to keep the porch clear & tidy. Do go in and check if you have any cards.
