Men’s Get Together
Revd Mike invites you to a men’s evening at the Rectory, 104 Church Lane, CW2 8ER on Friday 11 July at 7:30pm. Please bring with you a drink which you enjoy and a savoury snack to share. We will have a quiz courtesy of Nigel Simms and an opportunity for a chat and maybe make some plans for what we’d like to do for social, spiritual and fun events.
Rose Queen Cake Sale

Our new Rose Queen, Poppy, assisted by her attendant, Alona, will be holding a Cake Sale in the Church Hall following St Mary’s service on 6 July. She will be raising money for her charity, Mary’s Meals.
Rose Queen Total
Our previous Rose Queen, Lucia, with her Attendant, Cerys, raised an incredible £833.00 for Cancer Research UK during the past year. Well done to them both and to their families for such a tremendous amount raised.
The Alpha Course
Alpha continues this coming Wednesday, 7:30pm at St Luke’s. On Week 3 we will be thinking about, why did Jesus have to die?
Willaston World Worm Charming Championships
This Saturday is the Willaston World Worm Charming Championships, a great fun day out for all the family.

Summer Maintenance Jobs at St Mary’s

In the Rota File in St Mary’s porch there is a list of outdoor maintenance jobs at St Mary’s that would be good to get done during the summer months.
Simply sign up on the sheet for the job you’d like to do and do it in your own time. Thanks in advance.
Choir Vestry Repairs
The Dry Rot repairs in the Choir Vestry will cost in the region of £19,000 to repair. However, add to this roof repairs, plastering, painting and professional fees, the whole project could be in the region of £30,000. Many thanks for the donations and pledges received so far, if you would like to pledge a donation towards this project please let Revd Mike know.
