An Evening with the Archbishop of York at St Mary’s Nantwich

Stephen Cottrell is a gifted and lively communicator, plain-speaking and down to earth. His warm and engaging manner makes him at home in an environment where he can interact with an audience. He has been invited to speak at St Mary’s Nantwich on Saturday 22 June at 7:15pm (doors open at 6:30pm). As well as a talk from Archbishop Stephen there will be an opportunity for you to ask questions about life and faith, church or nation, everyday or global issues.

This is a free event and tickets are available here or via Nantwich’s Parish Office: 01270 625268 office@stmarysnantwich.org.uk

Defibrillator Information

We have a Defibrillator at both churches and in the Church Hall, please familiarise yourself of where they are kept using the signs. They are designed to be used by anyone, no training is needed. They can save a life, please take a look at the video to familiarise yourself with how to use one. Click here to view the video.

We still have spaces for our trip to the National Memorial Arboretum on July 11th. MEN do not be put off, this trip although it is Ladies Afternoon Group is open to all!! Please see Pam or myself if you would like to join us. Looking forward to seeing you later on this month. Frances.

An opportunity to get involved at St Mary’s

We would like a couple of people who would take on the role of setting up the Altar for Holy Communion and change the frontal etc when needs be. Also, we would like a few of people to cover the 12:30pm Baptisms by welcoming people and controlling the slides on the screen during the service. Full training would be given for both, if you would like to know about either of these roles please speak in the first instance to Revd Mike.

Would you like to read a Bible Reading or Lead the Intercessions at St Mary’s?
