Geoffrey Vaughan

Dear Church Family,

It’s difficult to communicate sad news at this time as we’re not meeting together as a church, but I’m sure you’d like to be kept informed.

It is with sadness that I inform you of the recent death of our great friend and long-standing member of our congregation, Geoffrey Vaughan ?

We don’t have any funeral details at the moment, however, under the new restrictions on funerals, it is only the immediate family that are able to attend the Crematorium or Graveside. I will post the information on here once I have them for your prayers and information, but not attendance.

May Geoffrey Rest in Peace and Rise in Glory! Amen

It’s so difficult when you can’t attend a funeral, whether for family, friend or neighbour. Many are facing this in the current crisis we are in. For those who are unable to attend a funeral the Church of England has produced a simple Reflection & Prayers (https://bit.ly/2JoQT95) for use at home on the day of the funeral and the opportunity to light an online candle (https://www.churchofengland.org/funeral-candle).

With every blessing and prayers for you and your family, please stay safe,

Mike
