Some sad news for the church family…

I’m sorry to inform you of the death of two of our great friends and long standing members of St Mary’s and St Luke’s, both passed away earlier this week.

Geoffrey Vaughan & Don Savage
May they Rest in Peace and Rise in Glory.

Our thoughts and prayers go out to their families at this very sad time for them.
Geoffrey’s funeral is on Wednesday 15 April at 2:30pm and Don’s is on Tuesday 14 April at 11:00am, both in the Churchyard. Due to the current very strict restrictions that surround funerals it can only be the immediate family who can attend, please respect this.

Stepping Stones continues in a different way! It’s great to see all the different initiatives that are happening in these difficult times

Church Staff

We have had to take the decision to furlough the paid church staff, that is Polly, Teresa & Derek, for the foreseeable future which means under the new government scheme as a church we can claim 80% of their wages back, we will continue to pay them 100% whilst we can. Many thanks to them and for all the help they have given to the church. This of course means the office is closed until further notice but the answerphone and emails are being checked daily

To keep in touch with the church, it’s news and updates and be kept informed of resources which you can use at home for prayer and worship, then please join our Prayer & Communication email list via this link: http://eepurl.com/gbKZ5b

Covid-19 and it’s effects of church life: As well as worship being suspended, we have had to cancel all events and close the Church Hall. We pray for all those for who are in isolation who will be hugely effected by this.
