Book a Place for Worship in December

St Luke’s and St Mary’s will reopen on Sunday 6 December at the usual times of 9 am and 10:40 am respectively

Once again, to keep everyone safe, there will be a booking system in place, however, to make things simpler, you will now be able to book for more than one service at a time within the month.
To make things fair, if you do book for more than one Sunday in the month, and we need the space, we may ask that you give up a Sunday so that others can attend. You can book in these ways, our preference is for you to book by email or use the online form, but of course you can phone if you wish:

  • Email: booking@stmaryswistaston.org.uk
  • Online Booking Form below
  • Phone: call Revd Mike, the Rector, on 01270 665742, if it’s the answering machine please leave a message

We will only get back to you if there’s an issue with your booking.

For those who can’t attend ‘in church’ our online worship continues with the 10:40am service at St Mary’s being live-streamed each week, the stream begins at 10:30am.

MIDWEEK HOLY COMMUNION & OTHER SERVICES

Wednesday 10 am Holy Communion Service will resume on Wednesday 9 December – no booking necessary for this, but bear in mind due to social distancing, there is a limit to how many we can fit in.

Morning Prayer: this will continue on Zoom for the foreseeable future and happens Mon-Thurs each week. However, due to annual leave, it will be on Monday & Thursday only this coming week. You can join us on Zoom here: bit.ly/930mp the service lasts for 20 mins.

Private Individual Prayer will continue this coming week and will finish after that for the time being. It will be on the usual days Tuesday 10 am – 12 noon and Thursday 2 pm (slightly later than normal) – 3:30 pm. Can I just take this opportunity to express our thanks to the small team of people who have facilitated this for us, opening, being there to help, cleaning after people and closing afterwards. Thank you very much.
