Mothering Sunday

Why not join us in church this Sunday for Mothering Sunday?
9am at St Luke’s Willaston for Morning Prayer and
10:40am at St Mary’s Wistaston for an All Age Holy Communion.


Bell Tower & Church Open Day

This Saturday
Bell Tower and Church Open Day on Saturday 18th March.
 Access will be available between 10am until noon, and 2 to 3-30 in the afternoon. There will be an opportunity to ascend into the ringing room. Competent bell ringers will explain the art of campanology and give demonstrations. Potential or lapsed bell ringers are very welcome. Refreshments will be available.


Scout’s Easter Bingo

This Saturday
Scout’s Easter Bingo at St Mary’s Church Hall Saturday 18th March at 6pm
– 8 Games of Bingo for £5 – please come & support the South West Cheshire World Scout Jamboree fundraiser event.


Lent 2023

Lent Groups continue: Tuesdays at the Rectory, 7:30pm & Fridays at St Luke’s at 10am.

Rachael Rivers will be joining us on a placement for Reader Training from Palm Sunday to early May. Rachael is based at St Mary’s, Nantwich, and is training to be a Reader, we look forward to welcoming her with us at our churches.


Lent Lunches

The next Lent Lunch will be on 29 March in the Church Hall and it will be a Ploughman’s Lunch at 12 noon priced at £4.50. Thanks, Chris. 

Many thanks to Chris and Mike for the lunch last Wednesday, the soups were fantastic!


The Church Hall

You may, or may not have noticed, that over the past month, the Church Hall has had a lick of paint (on the lower walls and skirting) and the floor has been polished. This has been done by a small band of people from our own congregation and has made a huge difference, many thanks to them for doing this.

St Mary’s Cleaning

Thanks to those who have volunteered to clean at St Mary’s, however, we need some more people to join in. It can be done at any time the church is free, towards the end of the week preferred. There is a cleaning kit and vacuums available and a key safe so as you can clean at a time that suits you. For safety, please do it in pairs.

Foodbank News

Thank your continuing generous support for St Paul’s Foodbank. Shortages are: Jam, UHT milk, cereal, rice, long life puddings/cakes. Tinned items: corned beef; pork; fruit; meat meals (chilli con carne, stew); rice pudding; vegetables. Please see the leaflet with the donation/drop off points .
