Hilda Bailey

It is with great sadness that I inform you of the death of Hilda Bailey, her funeral is at St Mary’s on Friday 3 November at 11:15am. Revd Mike.


Annual Commemoration Service

Our annual Commemoration Service is on Sunday 5 November at 6pm at St Mary’s. Invitations have been sent to the families of those whom we have conducted funerals for over the past 3 years. This said, the service is open to anyone who would value remembering a loved one who they have lost recently. All welcome!


Annual Shoebox Appeal

LAST FEW WEEKS: The deadline for drop-off at St Mary’s is 12 November.
Once again this year we are partnering with Teams4U, based in Wrexham, to donate Christmas Shoeboxes to Ukraine, Moldova, Georgia, Bosnia and Romania.

Leaflets and shoeboxes are available at both churches.

Pickles, Chutneys, Jams and Christmas puddings

This year’s St Mary’s Christmas Fair will be on Sunday 10th December in the Church Hall, after the Sunday Service. Chris and Mike Horne will again be providing their wonderful home produce of Pickles, Chutneys, Jams and Christmas puddings for you to purchase.

Remembrance Day Poppies

Remembrance Day Poppies are available, please see the collection boxes in the Church Hall and St Mary’s Church Porch.


The Bible Study & Prayer Group

Tuesday Bible study group will meet on 7 & 21 November & Prayer Group is on the 2 November (first Thursday of each Month). Jenny V. 


The Church Hall will be closed from Monday 13 November for 6 days (as long as all the work goes well), whilst the kitchen undergoes a refurb. The Office will remain open as normal.

We have refreshments in the Church Hall following the service at St Mary’s.
