St Mary’s and St Luke’s News & Information for 21 January 2024 – Epiphany 3

The Weekly Sheet has the weekly Readings and News on it

Thinking of Lent 2024

With Lent fast approaching (Ash Wednesday is 14th February) Chester Diocese have collated some of the latest group and personal resources for you to look at. Some are linked (the national church ‘Tarry Awhile’ / ’Watch & Pray’ resources for example), others are better for group study, and some are more personal devotional readings. Whatever you choose to use this Lent, may it be a blessing to you in this reflective season.
As a parish we will, have two Holy Communion services on Ash Wednesday, both at St Mary’s, 10am & 7pm.
Also, as usual, we will be holding a Lent Group at the Rectory, dates and time will be posted soon once agreed.
