Congratulations to Sophie & Poppy
Sophie was crowned as the Wistaston Rose Queen on Saturday 17 June at the Village Fete. Sophie’s chosen charity for the year is the local charity, Motherwell.
Confirmation Service at St Mary’s
Our Confirmation is on Sunday 9 July at 10:40am at St Mary’s and will be conducted by Bp Willie.
Please keep our candidates in your prayers as they prepare for their Confirmation and do come and support them on the day. Our candidates are: Hilary Davies, Sophie Davies, Bri Findlay, David Hands, Steve Keay, Yvie Nulty & Charlotte Shaw.
Willaston Worm Charming – this Saturday!
The Bible Study group
The Tuesday Bible study group will meet at 10.15am on the 4th and 18th July. The Prayer group will meet 6th July at 7pm, groups meet at 56 Bowness Rd. All welcome. Thank you, Jenny V.

Bishop Bishop!
Ian Bishop, the Archdeacon of Macclesfield, is to be the next Bishop of Thetford in the Diocese of Norwich, Downing Street has announced. Congratulations to him from St Mary’s & St Luke’s. He is due to be enthroned in the Autumn. More details here: bit.ly/ianbishop
