Walk of Witness in Crewe

Good Friday 29th March, Walk of Witness. 10:45am at St Mary’s Roman Catholic Church, St Mary’s Street, Crewe for a time of prayer and worship before we go onto the streets. 11:00am – Walk of Witness into Crewe town centre, followed at 12pm by the Crucifixion on Victoria Square (near Asda).


Easter Invites Distribution – thank you!

Thanks to all those that delivered the Easter Invites on Saturday and this week. Altogether we delivered to around 900 homes!!



St Mary’s: Decoration for Easter – all welcome

**This Saturday** St Mary’s Church will be decorated for Easter on Saturday 30th March 9.30-10.30am. All are welcome to help, no experience required. Thanks, Di Carter 01270 661583. 


Annual Parochial Church Meeting: Sunday 14 April at 12 noon

Our Annual Parochial Church Meeting (APCM) is on Sunday 14 April at 12 noon in St Mary’s Church followed by a Bring and Share in the Church Hall. The Agenda & Reports are available in church and online from bit.ly/apcminfo. If you can access the report online then it saves a lot of printing for the church. At the APCM we will be appointing two wardens for the coming year and electing five members to the PCC, please see Revd Mike for more info. There has been a Revision of the Church Electoral Roll which finished on 24 March and a copy is in the porch of St Mary’s. Would you like to read a Bible Reading or Lead the Intercessions at St Mary’s?

St Mary’s April Rota is in the porch and online, to view it click here. Thanks to all those who read the bible readings & lead the intercessions at both our churches.
If you would like to add your name to the Rota, you can do it in church or email Revd Mike (you can view the Rota and see what slots are available here). However, if are not sure about whether you should do it, or have concerns about doing it, please speak to Rachael or Mike who are happy to help.

Morning Prayer is taking a break until 9 April.

St Mary’s Cleaning Rota

The St Mary’s Cleaning Rota needs some new volunteers and people to sign up. The Rota is in the porch of the church – please consider signing up to keep St Mary’s looking fantastic. See a Warden for more details.
